Margo Gemstones Farm TRIO
Howdy,
I've been reading a lot and found some Mo/Me - R/Mo duo to farm Titan Gemstones from FoFC.
I believe it was nerfed because of the monster skills they have put in like Touch Of Aaaaaaargh.
So, i am asking your opinion about a Mo/Me - Mo/R - ?/? trio to farm Margonite Gems(City of Torc'qua).
The builds i've think of:
55hp Mo/Me
Spell Breaker
Prot Spirit
Shield of Absorption
Blessed Aura
Balth Spirit
Ancestor's Visage
Sympathetic Visage
I am Unstoppable!
Mo/R (or R/Mo)
Famine
EOE
Essence Bond
Succor
Quickening Zephyr
Mending?
??
??
Third Person (?/?)
??
??
??
??
??
??
??
??
Famine will do the damage. Quickening Zephyr allows perma SB, SoA, IAU.
Third person will clear the guys in the wall and any leftovers.
I am not saying this works. I just want to know if there is any possiblity we could make this work.
What about melee foes? Enough of them?
No trolling please.

If I were you I'd try the A/Me or R/A bar, which should be a hella lot easier and do not require a 3rd person.
EDIT:The A/Me does, but it still is much easier

The trio used to be:
Tank - Mo/Me with Spell breaker, spirit bond, prot spirit
Smiter - Mo/x with holy wrath, retribution, blessed signet
QZ - R/x with QZ, famine
It doesn't work any more because of the nerf to Holy wrath, which means you have only retribution to do the damage really which makes the build have only about 1/3 of the dmg.
The fury and black beast of aaaargghhh will strip enchantments from a monk, so I guess it's not really possible to kill them as that trio anyway.

Thanks for answer, but i am actually talking about City, not Foundry. My question is, won't Famine + a 3rd person be enough to kill?

Well, famine isn't really needed on a player, as it is already permanently there, used by Anur Tuks. Their famine + EoE+ the 2 Visages is enough to kill them as long as the ball is perfect.
The problem with a Spell Breaker monk is that you need a player with QZ (it isn't exactly perma when used by Tuks, in case of bad luck the tank would die), while an Assassin or Ranger tank can survive without it.

I believe Spell Breaker tank is safer with another player bringing QZ than the SF tanks out there.. won't you?

No, just bring Deadly Paradox. You can duo city easily, without cons, and solo it with them if you want to..
Do some research next time... http://www.gwpvx.com/Build:Team_-_Ma..._Gemstone_Farm
Though this can only kill the groups outside of city, don't think it can do the wall or Jadoth.. If you want it to be able to kill the wall, take a 3rd person with Famine and QZ anyway to make sure they are within range of the things on top of it, so that you can kill them one by one with your visages. With Jadoth... No idea how good it would work, that's a lot of foes at once. If you wanna take real people, you can have the ranger take Life Bond (bond AFTER the monk) and Essence Bond or something for infinite energy and then have the monk player Seed of Life the ranger.

Running a bonder + R/A tank with DP + whirling is very effective too since you only need one whirling to kill a well-balled group. You just have to be careful about canceling your whirling with deadly paradox.

Thanks all, wasn't aware of that build, even after some research. Was trying to avoid SF, but guess it's the better/faster.
